Economy innovation is the way to grow in new dimensions. Rudy Ramirez keeps an awesome vision in this regard. As councilman, I will promote the creation of incubators and accelerators in the South Bay. I will support the development of technical training programs at community colleges to meet the specialized needs of the aerospace, maritime, and aviation industries. We will partner with the greater San Diego region to promote South County as a center for Maritime (“Blue”) Economy jobs and promote internships and training and linked-learning programs in Blue Economy fields.
